12 Day Blogger Challenge Day 9 "How to pull the Perfect Pint"

Wow day 9 already of this blogger challenge and today is to teach you something so as i have worked in the hospitality business for 10 years now,i will explain how to pour the perfect pint of Guinness!

1- Take a cool,clean and dry Guinness branded glass (nothing worse than if it is in another branded glass,it is so unprofessional).

2-Hold the glass under the tap at an angle of 45 degrees.

3-Pull the handle forward and fill the glass three quarters the way up making sure never to allow the tap spout to touch the liquid guinness.

4-Now you must leave it to settle for approximately 2 minutes.

5-Top up the glass by pushing the tap handle backwards until the head is just ever so slightly above the top of the glass. Never allow the stout to overflow and never use for example a knife to level the head.

6-Using a steady hand,give the customer his pint making sure that you do not allow overspill.

So there you go now,the perfect pint,so next time you ask for a pint of guinness,have a look and see if your bartender has done exactly the above!

GW 11 BOTS Leagues 1-4 Scores and Overall Points

So here we have the scores from all 4 BOTS leagues and the overall scores also in all leagues. It was another rather dissappointing GW gor the girls in general with the exception of BOTS 4 girls who have had a fantastic start.

BOTS1

A disappointing 5 wins for the girls with the wins coming from Cathy,Laura,Lucia,Lauren and Linn! Well done girls.

Overall score is now,

oh girls,we need a few good gameweeks soon!

BOTS2

Well we certainly got hammered here with the only girls wins coming from Gurjinder,Hannah and myself and Lauren getting a draw!
In all honesty,there is no shame in been beaten in this league as our opponents are seasoned professionals at this game and it's nice to see that nearly all of the girls are very competitive and have been a wee bit unlucky in their efforts. It would be nice however if a couple of the teams were looked at and some transfers made as it is very difficult to win a match if you have players injured/suspended and then you are only playing with like 10 men or so.

So the overall score is now,

BOTS3

Oh another defeat for the girls in BOTS3 but there were some really close matches. We had wins for Therese,Cora,Elaine,Kat and Rachael,well done girls on your wins. Just to also say that Elaine has had her 4th straight win,good for you girl.
I still believe that this team can go on and win overall so hopefully we will be back to winning ways next gameweek.

So the overall score is now,

BOTS4

So here we have it,the new BOTS league with some new fpl girls challenging a new set of boys! And what a fantastic start the girls have made winning 10 out of the 15 games. There were wins for Pamela,Nikki,Kirstine,Hayley,Sherri,Linda,Julie,Sharon,United Girl and myself. it would be nice to keep this up and just to let you know,we will have some new additions to our team this week with the possibility of up to 5 or 6 new girls joining this awesome team. If i could also just mention that we need a team name so if anyone has suggestions,please DM me and we will vote during the week!

So the overall score is,

There will also be a Knockout Cup competition in which 64 fpl girls will take on 64 boys with the draw taking place early next week live on twitter. All the girls in the BOTS leagues are automatically entered into the draw so the very best of luck to everyone in the 1st of 2 cup knockout competitions!

12 Day Blogger Challenge Day 7 & 8

Today's blogger challenge is to write a seasonal post so as it's nearly christmas,i am doing up a short wishlist in the hope that maybe my BF just might have a look lol! And as it happens day 8 is a fashion wishlist so here it is too as it has gone past midnight here so does count as the next day!

All of these items are available in Forever 21,i am not going to give full descriptions,i will just put up the pics for now!

So there are just 4 lovely items that are on my christmas wishlist,i just love polka dot as anyone who knows me will tell you.

It's only a short post but it is part of the 12 day blogger challenge which i would like to complete and it is a seasonal inspired post i suppose,

12 Day Blogger Challenge Day 6

So now it's day 6 of this 12 day challenge and today is about whatever i am currently reading whether it be a book,magazine or a blog etc.

And as it happens,it is a few blogs that i am currently reading at the time of writing. I am not reading my usual blogs that have all these such wonderful outfits but i am reading another few of my favourite blogs which have interesting posts and topics and outfits as it turns out. I will now share them with you and i must say these blogs are well worth following as the girls behind them are so sweet and lovely and a real credit to the blogging community in general.

I have just read a brilliant post by the absolutely lovely Jemma @dorkfaceblog   dorkface.co.uk 
whose latest post titled "Honestly" is a must read. It shows us that all people in the world of the blogging community are not all sweet and nice. Please have a read of this rather excellent post. Jemma has a wonderful blog and she is such a wonderful person who i would recommend to follow.She really is so lovely!

I then checked out a lovely blogging/twitter friend of mine's blog which is
lovefromfg.blogspot.co.uk by the lovely Florence Grace @flomatthews_
in which i have been recently nominated for "The Blogger's Recognition Award" by the lovely Flo. Thank you Flo! All i can say is please check out this blog,it is something special and Flo's writing is second to none. She is just an incredible writer and all posts are just written superbly and flawless.

I then popped into stylesunrise.co.uk  by the always lovely Karen @stylesunrise_
and what we have as her latest post is an OOTD which is gorgeous outfit featuring skinny jeans by Dresscode and they are fab and such a bargain. Paired off with a lovely white top,tartan scarf and such gorgeous floral shoes,this outfit is so amazing and i love it. Go have a look for yourself,i promise you wont be disappointed. Karen is also such a lovely and supportive person within the blogging community and is well worth following.

And just as i am writing this,i got a notification of being nominated for the "One Lovely Blog Award" by the absolutely lovely Eleanor  @DLLFashion
whose fabulous blog is  dreamlovelivefashion.blogspot.co.uk 
I have always loved Eleanor's blog as there is always fabulous outfits to see,wishlists and recommendations  and indeed many actual hauls which always seem to be type of outfits.You certainly have fantastic taste Eleanor. So i would like to recommend following Eleanor and her blog as she is such a lovely girl with a fabulous blog.

Infact the above 4 girls are really well worth following so if you are not following,please go and do so,they are all so lovely and i am so happy i met them through the world of twitter.

Right,that's day 6 of my 12 day challenge done and so on to day 7 tomorrow which is a season inspired post,what,this is going to be difficult lol,

12 Day Blogger Challenge Day 5

Day 5 of this 12 day blogger challenge is some of my most loved possessions!

I am just going to try and keep this simple and list some of my favourite possessions rather than categorise them as my most loved,so here goes,

1- My Divorce papers as they are precious to me after what happened to end my marriage. I cant unfortunately put up a picture as i am sure you will all understand lol!

2- A recent gift from my lovely BF which he surprised me with last week,first thing i said is "what have you done" jokingly that was and he said he noticed that i was nearly out of my favourite perfume,ah how lovely! It's a Cool Water Woman box set!

3-The CD titled "Dark Passion Play" by Nightwish. I just cant stop listening to this in the car and the track "The Poet and The Pendulum" is my favourite ever song. It is 14 minutes long and has everything in it,the last 4 minutes is the best piece of music i have ever heard and it has brought a tear to my eye many times with it's beautiful lyrics.

4- My 60's style dress as i seen the exact one being featured on the top Irish fashion show on Friday on TV3 here in Ireland. It was called a must have and i only bought it a few weeks ago,so delighted with this.

5-And finally one of my most loved possessions are my memories of my childhood,that is all i can say!

BOTS GW10 Scores and Overall Points

 GAMEWEEK 10 ROUND UP

Well i think as girls,we need to forget this gameweek as it was an awful week for all 3 BOTS girls teams.

So here are the scores from GW 10

BOTS 1

The only wins for the girls came from Joanne,Lauren and Simar which leaves me abit speechless as this team has been consistently good every week. Ah well,we will move on to next week so with the overall score now standing as,

This is the first time the boys have had the overall lead and just another mention to FPL seb on yet another win for the boys making that 7 straight wins. I wonder who is up next Seb!


BOTS 2

So onto BOTS2 and another victory for the boys denying the girls a 2nd weekly victory in a row.

Well with only wins from Kali,Bibi,Tania,Rio,Goolie Zee and myself,it has left us further behind the boys with an awful lot of catching up to do,but there is a long way to go still!

So the overall score now is,

BOTS 3

Well we girls got heavily beaten here too which is a shame as all the guys seemed to have captained Sanchez lol! But not to worry,we will bounce back,i have no doubt about this!

There was wins for the girls by Therese,Elaine,Leah and Ellyn giving us a very low total of 12 points. Next week girls will be ours! Just like to mention too that Elaine and Ellyn have played 3,won 3.

So the overall score is now,

There is not really to much to say on this gameweek however we will move on to next week now and do our best to get the points for the girls

12 Day Blogger Challenge Day 4 (5 of my fav blogs)

So on to Day 4 of this exciting 12 Day blogger challenge and today i have an opportunity to list a top 5 of my choice so i have decided to do a post on 5 of my favourite Blogs that i follow and the girls behind the blogs. All of these blogs are mainly fashion blogs and i am planning on doing a post soon on beauty and lifestyle blogs that i follow as there are some really lovely bloggers that i follow that i would love to recommend too.Recently i did a post on 5 of my favourite blogs so i will not include these in this post as i have already givin my reasons and recommendations for following.

SO just before i start may i say that these 5 blogs are all incredible,amazing and inspirational and have a wonderful young lady behind each and every one of them and i have the highest of recommendations to follow them and i really hope i can give these blogs the credit that they so much deserve and so in no particular order of preference here goes.


Now my first choice is is an incredible blog called unconventionalsecrets.blogspot.it by the absolutely lovely ManueLita  @MuratoreManuela 
This is a blog that i have recently come across and to say i am mad about this blog is an understatement. Every single post by ManueLita is beautiful,gorgeous and every other superlative you can think of. Her styling is incredible,every outfit is just so amazing and she is such a lovely girl to go with it all.Every outfit is just incredible,so well put together,so stylish and so beautiful.To give you an example of this,i have listed 3 of my favourite outfits worn by this incredible,inspirational and just all round lovely young lady whom i have so much respect for and my admiration for is off the scale.ManueLita is just a must follow wherever you can follow her for the most incredible outfits and styles anywhere to be found online or anywhere else for that matter.I am so happy that i found this wonderful blog with a truly wonderful young lady behind it and i would now like to take this opportunity to say "Thank you ManueLita" for being so amazing and for brightening up my day!
